Who is responsible

Aamir Junaid, operating AJ Trading Edge from Rajasthan, India, is the data fiduciary (controller) for personal data collected through this website and our services. Privacy contact and Grievance Officer: aj.businessdesk@gmail.com.

What we collect

Newsletter: your email address and confirmation of consent (double opt-in). Seat requests: name, email, market, experience and any message you send. Members: name, email, phone (Indian checkout), membership tier, payment and subscription identifiers, renewal and cancellation status, optional Discord username and Discord user ID, sign-in events, PDF download records (file and time), and the date and time of any choice to waive the refund window. Ask Edge: the questions you type, processed to generate an answer. Website analytics: pages viewed, clicks on checkout and outbound links, approximate country, device type and the referring site.

What we do not collect

We do not receive or store card numbers, UPI PINs or bank login details; payments are handled by Razorpay and Gumroad. Our analytics do not use cookies and do not store IP addresses: visitors are counted with a one-way hash of IP address, browser and date that changes daily and cannot identify you.

Cookies

We use one strictly necessary cookie, ajte_session, to keep members signed in for up to 30 days. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Embedded TradingView widgets and links to third-party sites are governed by those providers' own policies.

Why we use it (purposes and lawful basis)

To send the newsletter you asked for (consent); to provide and manage memberships, sign-in, downloads and Discord roles (contract); to answer requests and support questions (contract and legitimate use); to keep records of purchases, refunds, refund waivers and downloads for accounting, dispute and chargeback handling and to protect our content (legal obligation and legitimate use); to understand which pages and products help learners, in aggregate (legitimate use). We never sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with (processors)

Vercel (website hosting), Supabase (member database and private file storage), Brevo (email delivery and newsletter), Razorpay (Indian payments), Gumroad (international payments and e-book delivery; merchant of record), Discord (community and roles, only if you give us your username), Groq (AI inference for Ask Edge questions), TradingView (market widgets) and Notion (our private, access-controlled business workspace, where we keep membership records — name, email, tier, status, dates, Discord username and download counts — plus daily aggregate website statistics and support notes, for running the business). Some of these providers process data outside India, for example in the United States or the European Union, under their own security and contractual commitments. We may disclose data if required by law or to a regulator.

How long we keep it

Newsletter data until you unsubscribe. Membership, payment, refund and download records for as long as you are a member and then for up to 8 years, for tax, accounting and dispute purposes. Seat requests for up to 12 months. Ask Edge questions are not stored by us beyond processing and aggregate safety review. Analytics events for up to 24 months, in aggregate.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and, where they apply to you, the GDPR and similar laws, you can ask to access, correct, update or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, nominate another person to exercise your rights, and raise a grievance. Email aj.businessdesk@gmail.com from the address we hold; we will reply within 30 days. Every newsletter email includes a one-click unsubscribe. Records we must keep by law (for example, payment and tax records) may be retained after an erasure request. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

Security

Member data is stored in access-controlled databases with row-level security; PDFs are served through short-lived private links; sign-in uses signed one-time links rather than passwords; the owner dashboard is restricted to authorised email addresses. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected users and authorities of a personal data breach as the law requires.

Children

Our services are for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children; if you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We will post updates here with a new date and email members about material changes.
